ViaSat Exede broadband internet Exede is a satellite internet service provided by parent company ViaSat. The service was launched in 2012 when the ViaSat-1 satellite was put into service. Before Exede, ViaSat offered WildBlue on an older Telesat Anik F2 satellite. In general Exede's real world performance is over 10x faster than WildBlue's. The new ViaSat-2 satellite is scheduled to be put into service later this year (2016). SKU UPC Model

Wish I could give it 0 stars! This company is a cruel joke. Their product, customer service, usage charges, reliability and overall value are the worst of any company I have ever used. Disconnects several times a day for no apparent reason. Agonizingly slow when it DOES connect. Uses up my 12 gb data in three days! And I do not stream movies, games, etc. Words cannot express how very much I detest this company!

If there was negative stars that is what I would give. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! Hang up on you. The only way we use it is it is the only option living where we do. I have tried every other and as soon as the is a better one I will go to it. That do not give a crap about customers. They use cheap equipment and then charge you $95 to replace their cheap equipment when you are paying them for their Chinese crappy stuff. And most likely they won\'t show up for the appointment because they don\'t pay their techs.

What does it take to get the better business bureau to investigate these folks? I am stuck in a contract with the worst internet ever, and I have to pay about 80% of the remaining contract monthly fees PLUS pay to get the equipment off the roof and send it back. The Internet is spotty, very slow (big lag time for ech page load due to satellite). It was down for 3 weeks and I requested a refund which I never got. It is down for every rain. Support hold times are 20 min + for call and they often say "our computers are down at the moment, you'll have to call back later". Worse, they offer limited data. If you watch 2 movies a month and do a little email you will "exceed" your 10MB plan and it will cost you $80. this is a huge ripoff.

I don't understand how it is possible here in our country for Exede to operate. This is the most useless service a person can get. I can't use my Roku, my tv, or my computer to stream video. My email says I don't have enough data to send emails. Webpages don't function. I can't receive updates to my laptop or my tv. I fall asleep waiting for webpages to load and as I said earlier they don't load properly. I haven't figured out yet what i'm paying for! The FCC should not allow this unethical kind of business to operate in our country!

System needs rebooting several times to get on. Remember dial up? I get a few days of "high" speed and then LIBERTY PASS.

We were approached by a sales person wanting me to switch to Excede internet from Dish . He told us how much faster and better it was, boy was I sold a bill of goods. Excede is worse than Dish. It is slower, and we average about 1-2 hours of service over 3 months of the last 1 year of service. I have scheduled a service call twice in the past week and during the 3hour window of 9-12 on a Thursday and Friday. After a no show as of 2 hours late I rescheduled for the following Tuesday for the same time frame putting of all other plans and appointments all three days and here I am again waiting for a service tech to show and no phone call and no show as of one hour after the three hour window.In my opinion Excede has a very poor service record and very poor quality service. I would not recommend this internet service provider to my worst enemy.

I wouldnt even give one star....the only reason i got them is they are all that is offered in my area...just barely better than not having internet at all...the things im interested in like youtube and netflix will never stop buffering!!

Worst service I have ever had. NO way out of the contract. Had to put a star it should be ZERO stars. Slow, expensive, horrible customer service, requested service call no one showed up and the ticket was closed. No one ever explained the plan rip off. I had to file this complaint at work it would take way to long using my slow Exceed home internet which would cost me since it would put me over my data plan what a joke!

I already have to call to get more ram for my computer just to play my simple pogo games. Most of my time was WAITING FOR MY PAGE TO LOAD!!! This is just wrong. They make you sign up for 2 years without a trial period. They will not let me out of my contract and I have tried 3 times! I won't even give it one star, just the worse internet ever!!!

Ok will I have been with exede for 10 years I have good speeds for some time off and on but what gets me is they say its a lot of people are on it will be slow ok will my speeds are 19 mbps uploads 3.90 from 5:00 am to 9:oo pm but for 9:01 to 4:59 my are 0.24 mbps uploads are 0.23 they say it a lot of people are on wow I been calling for 2 years about this and I get the some old thing this is what get me soooooo mad you pay your bill and get a hair in it you get it for free but with exede you get bad speeds you get im sorry for taking your money and taking your food for mouth so I can say im sorry ok will you dont pay it they come to you door says were is my money I need to roll my but on it so I can live like a king and they cut you off for not paying for there Internet wow and they dont care about you or what going on here we go get this I have been downloading a 400mb file for 4 hours and it still is not done I cant load a page you I wish I had other Internet like att some thing so i can tell exede to go were the sun dont shine so if you get exede im am sorry for you just say DONT GET EXEDE PLZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ dont give them your money they dont not need it they need to feel what we feel thank you
