Better to use a streaming service

They keep raising rates and will offer a better deal if you call to cancel. There are numerous free and paid services which have more content than Sirius, I recommend these instead, many of the free ones have no or very minimal interruptions.


TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

I was a very happy customer for about 81/2 years. Then they over charged me, took away NFL without notice then told me I have to pay extra on top of them raising the price every year. They charged me for channels I couldn't get on my radio. NOW all I needed was a power cord.They told my wife we can get a free new radio I had a starmate 5 they sent a Onyx EZ, I asked why they would send me a lesser quality radio they just said sorry. They didn't work with me to correct issue so I will be cancelling all 3 radios.I wish I can give them -5 stars!

Was happy for awhile. Got a package and it was OK. Went to cancel and thought all was OK. Now 2years later got a call saying they want my credit card number for late fees and continue usage. No I have not and cannot use since it was cancelled. Plus the call back operators could not understand what I wanted. Need more education on these operators and better English speaking

Service has to constantly get signal refreshed and as of now...my stereo is still not working and they just transfer me from person to person....do not use xm

Called to cancel in August, then the annual charge still appeared on Sept bill. Called to fix that and they wish to charge me for a month because they dont have any record of my call... kind of convenient I'd say

Service fine until we wanted to terminate service. We called almost 4 month before the end of contract and indicated we did not want to renew. They noted it on our account but auto renewed anyway. We received a late payment notice and realized their error. When we called to inform them of their error, we were told we would still be financially responsible for the month the service had not been terminated and if we didn't agree file a complaint.


Worst customer service ever

Worst customer service ever after talking to 7 different people and every one of them were the rudest people I have ever talked to in my life!! They told me my account was good til Dec. 2017 and then a few minutes later it was turned off! In order to get it back on they want me to give them money! I don't think so I will rather give my money to iTunes. Never again will I use XM.

I love the classical station for trips, but i didn't use it enough to pay the $200 + per year and decided to cancel . That's when the "bait and switch. " tactics began. I was in the phone for 35 minutes with a rep who told me that as a "valued customer" she would give me a special price of $99 per year. When I said I didn't really use it all that much since we have an excellent classical station here, she went down to $80, and then down to $63! I thought that sounded reasonable, but then she read me a long Service Greement and wanted me to accept it. I said I would accept it if I could see it in an emai, but that apparently wasn't acceptable to her. So I again tried to cancel, but got nowhere. I finally just hung up after telling her that if we didn't come to some sort of I would hang up , not wanting to be rude.
An hour later or so I called back ,since I didn't know my status. I got a different rep with the same script. "I understand your concern , but you're a valued customer and we want to keep you," etc. She offered me several other "deals" , like. $25 deal, but since I had already paid $29 up front, that doubled it...and it was for 5 months. You get the picture! They have all kinds of special deals for valued customers! Ha! This call was shorter, only 25 minutes, and I was finally able to cancel...we'll see...they owe me $29.00 which I assume will be sent to me. The stations they have may be decent , but their tactics remind me of a haggling bazar in some third world country! Not good!


Dishonest Operation

Company's system auto-renews account and does not allow customer to cancel on-line. Called to cancel and found out they had been holding $100 of my money as a "credit to my account" for 6 months without my knowledge or permission! I will NOT renew again after the current "special" 5-month deal expires. Also, customer phone service is horrible and frustrating!

I had gotten a free year with the purchase of my car. In no way shape or form did i give sirius my concent to take out almost 250 dollars out of my account the following year. I called to try and get my money back i had to tell them 5 times i wanted my money back before they would even offer a refund. They told me it was sent over to my bank call them if i want the money faster come to find out they lied and didnt send my money to the bank almost 5 days after.


1.4 5.0 443 443 I have had SiriusXM for 10-12 years. I enjoy the 40's Junction, 50's Gold, 60's Gold, 70's on 7, 80's Groove, SoulTown, Classic Vinyl, etc; The 40's Junction always had the automat Sirius XM satellite radio
