Apparently they opened a account in my name without my consent, signature, permission, or anything. When I requested politely the first 5 times to cancel and close the account, I then got marketing calls, and marketing mailers. So, now they have committed fraud. Excellent work folks. Somehow when I mentioned fraud, they didn't care. I'm still waiting on the paperwork with my signature on it authorizing them to open a account.....Giving them this one star is too much...They don't even deserve that.

I just cannot understand how a company that actually has a decent product can generate so much negativity through their business office. I'm 62 and have witnessed horrible business practices but Sirius is the worst I have ever seen in my life.
I think the best summation of them would be a comparison to the cheapest, lowest form of life used car lot sales closer.
I dread having to contact their customer service department. I believe their 1st level customer service people are Pakistani robots, only capable of spitting out a set answer no matter what the question.
I have read some of the reviews and can certainly relate.
This year they are trying to charge me far more for 3 units than I have been paying for the use of 4 units. That's it. I'm done with them. Every service has a dollar value but they should be paying me to have to deal with their service dept..


WORST COMPANY EVER!!!!

I HAVE TRIED TO CANCEL THREE TIMES. THIS IS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!!! IT SHOULD NOT TAKE AN FREAKING HOUR AND THREE TRANSFERS TO CANCEL. I'VE HAD SURGICAL PROCEDURES THAT WERE FASTER!!! I AM FURIOUS. I WILL NEVER EVER USE YOUR SERVICE AGAIN. AND AM TELLING EVERYONE I KNOW WHAT A CROOKED CONNIVING GROUP OF THIEVES YOU ALL ARE!! IF I COULD HAVE CHOSEN ZERO STARS I MOST CERTAINLY WOULD HAVE!!! YOU HAVE RUINED MY EFFIN DAY & STOLEN MY MONEY!


Overcharging

I noticed a charge for $80 on my checking account, it was for Sirius Xm. I called the toll free number to cancel my subscription. The lady I spoke to was very pleasant and friendly. I told her I had 3 vehicles I wanted to discuss, she could only find two, after some searching she found 3 more for a total of 5. I explained that I only had 3 vehicles and I wanted to cancel anything else with my name. As it turned out Sirius Xm has been charging me for two (2) vehicles since 2010.that is a full $3000 for service that I gave never had. The rep said she would elevate my concerns.

Another rep contacted me later the same day, this time a Nan with an are to grind, he tried his best to convince me that I must have forgotten that I had started the subscription, he then said one of the radios was an airplane. The other a pickup that I had never owned. I tried in vain to make this guy understand that I did not own an airplane not have I ever owned an airplane. He said that it really didn't matter what I told him that he could only go by the notes posted to the account. I then all went he had even called if he have no intention of refunding my money. He said that some had to call. I then angerily said this is fraud trying to tell the rep I felt like they were the ones commenting the fraud. He then told me to get my bank statements and contact the fraud dept. I told him that is just what I would do since he was wasting my time, I then hung up. He knows I paid the subscription or they would have turned of my service, they essentially changed me for two subscriptions for five years on vehicles that I never owned. They ripped me of for $3000 dollars that I could have used. I am an elderly man on a fixed income, since they charged me a total amount each month I never realized that I was being stolen from. It is a sad say when they need money that bad...


Not poor CS - the WORST EVER

I would rate negative stars if it was available.

I was a loyal subscriber with 2 devices, that renewed on different dates. I wanted to have both renew on the same date, a simple request.

Sirius could not do that, after several attempts on my part (email and phone).

So I dropped one device. This is when the physical "We want you back" letter harassment started.

Then I wanted to switch my current subscription to a new device (car radio). Their website would not let me do that. A CHAT with a rep would not let me do that. They insisted that my new car take the 3 month TRIAL, which did not get all the stations that I WAS currently PAYING FOR.

Then the real madness started.

Sirius started sending me past due invoices - when THEY OWED me for cancelling my subscription.

I emailed and tweeted, and finally got a response. They apologized and said they only owed me $16.64 - and that they would extend my free trial for an additional 3 months.

That day my service was cancelled.

Wow, I don't even know what to say - except that SiriusXM are the absolute WORST idiots I have ever encountered.

I do not get the stations I PAID for, I do not get the 3 month free trial until October, I do not get the 3 month extension.

Sirius took a customer with multiple devices and turned me into someone that hates Sirius. Good work guys.

The service says no ads, but what they mean is no outside ads. The self promotion is exhaustive, annoying and less informative than commercial ads.


XM has horrible Cx service

Cx service wasn't able to resolve my issue. I called to check the balance on a gift card and explicitly told the girl not to apply the credit to MY account because these were gift cards for my father. She applied the gift cards to my account anyway! I then spent the next 2 and a half hours on the phone with ignorant/rude rep's that were not able to reissue the gift card or refund my credit card despite the fact the your company made the error. It would have been much simpler if the original rep would have understood English a little better and wouldn't have applied the gift card to my account. It would have been much easier if your customer service rep's didn't hang up on me multiple times! It would have been nice if they would call me back after being disconnected! It would have been easier if your customer reps would have just refunded my credit card so that I could repurchase the gift card!
I will relate my discontent with Sirius XM to everyone that I speak with until this issue is resolved in an appropriate way. I work for Best Buy and people ask me about your product everyday... I will make sure they know that your customer service is the worst! Please feel free to prove me wrong.


paid but got no service

I paid for service for 2016 in July, but when I turned my radio on no service. I call them about it and they told my I would have to agree to pay a lot more in 2017 with a charge card. I told them no and they would not turn my radio on. So I told them to send my money back and they said they would credit it to my charge card, which is no longer active. I told the I want a check like they got from my bank. They said I will take 7 to 10 days to get my money back. I WOULD RECOMEND THAT NO ONE USE THIER SERVICE ANY MORE

They overchArge you. Customer service is realy bad. They keep you online for awhile then maybe you get tired and hang up. Never ever even try this service. This kind of companies need to go down . Shame on you siriusXM Team! You guys are horrible.


Sirus cancellation sucks

On hold for over a half an hour. Called back and got really aggressive with the phone person, and after about 20 minutes I finally received some cancellation confirmation numbers. Will see if they attempt to renew this subscription.
