ViaSat Exede broadband internet Exede is a satellite internet service provided by parent company ViaSat. The service was launched in 2012 when the ViaSat-1 satellite was put into service. Before Exede, ViaSat offered WildBlue on an older Telesat Anik F2 satellite. In general Exede's real world performance is over 10x faster than WildBlue's. The new ViaSat-2 satellite is scheduled to be put into service later this year (2016). SKU UPC Model

Do not get exede internet! I repeat do not get exede internet!!! This internet is a rip off!!! I test my internet connection all the time with speedtest.com app and most the time my my download speed is 0.00-0.45mbs and upload speed will be the same and my latency or (ping) Will be like 3000 that's a 3 sec delay very very bad!! It won't even load Facebook most of the time.this company is just tricking you with internet package names that sound awesome.but in turn are not awesome. So pleases pleases DO NOT GET EXEDE INTERNET!!!!!!!!

Only there most basic of internet services work on Exede. No streaming. No video games. No nothing. We switched our phones to unlimited data to enjoy streaming, internet, and gaming. Worst ever.

After contract expired, I cancelled account and returned all equipment. They continued to take money from my account and only returning it after I complained. Then they would keep each theft for weeks before crediting it back. DO NOT USE this company!!!!!!!! N

after I typed the review Service Tech Never Show up. my phone rang and it was a satellite internet repair company and they scheduled an appointment with me for today the first of june . The Tech Rick Gutereze (I dont know how to spell his name) But after every thing i have been thru this man redeemed all the the bad and its all good he was prompt , on time. he definatly knew what he was doing. he addressed every problem and brought our system up to code and was very professional curtious and did a great job Restored our service our phone and as my wife said he is our hero Thank you Rick and excede for handling this issue for us now our life can go back to normal.......

service techs never show up

our internet has been out for a month. We called customer service they said on such and such date a tech would be out between 11 am and 2 pm , on that date it was a no show , the tech said he called and couldn't get us on the phone . WE a voice over ip phone thru excede and duh if the internet is not working niether is the phone. Its a rural area and we have to drive fifteen minutes up the road for our cell phone to work,its in the middle of the desert and its 115 degrees outside and the a/c on the car is broke. and We told them this so they re schedualed . we waited and waited and waited , then we called again and they told us that the tech wont come out unless some one can answer the phone so they can confirm that someone will be there . I told them I would be there they still need a phone number so they can call and con firm . so no tech again . we called back now the date is two weeks from the last appointment. they dont care that I have to drive over 100 miles to get there and the fact that as it stands I lost over 1000.00 in lost wages plus miles on my truck . when i say i will be there im there waiting and im on time , something this company knows nothing about . and if im not there when they show i have to pay a 95.00 service call , what about the 1000.00 im out because you didnt show up . Im sending you a billfor my wages...get it together excede learn how to do keep your word to your customers...

There is nothing more to the other reviews. I wish i could get dial-up, it would no doubt be faster than this junk. I uploaded 25 pictures to Facebook and answered comments and in 10 hours i used all my monthly data. Now i have 28 days of even worse speeds. If that is possible. This is 2 tin cans and a string of internet service.

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. They advertise internet speeds up to 25 Mbps but I never get anything better than 2 Mbps, and most of the time from around 5pm-12am I get speeds of less than 1 Mbps. That is absolute garbage.

I have called customer service and tried to talk to technical support a number of times and they always just tell me that my contract states that their advertised speeds are "up to 25 Mbps" which they claim legally allows them to offer any speed less than that.

This is a horrible company that is cheating me and all of their customers out of our hard earned money. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT with them. You will be locked into 2 years of horrible internet service and even worse customer service.

It To A Friend?: Only if I was very pissed at them! 

Was told there was not a data cap and there is. Was told the cost for Internet and tv was 111, no it was 127 + 70. Even their advertised data overage service is a lie. Download is 266 Kbps not the advertised 1-5 Mbps. False advertising is the only thing Excede is well equipped for. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME (And you'll waste plenty of it waiting for downloads) OR MONEY!

It is slow if it works at all, if you call Tech support they just say, must be cloudy and of course it is not. They claim we are using data when we have unplugged it. I hate to pay for what I don't use. Always out of data before month is up. But they don't have a problem!

1.2 5.0 1231 1231 having seriouse speed issues, complained to company they schedualed a technician to come gave a 3 hour window for the tech to be there, waited the 3 hours then called and they said Exede broadband internet
