User Review for DishNet Satellite Internet:
Please note that since late 2012 Dish has been offering DishNet as a satellite internet bundle and may utilize either the Exede or Hughesnet service depending on where the customer is located geographically. Which provider DishNet gives you can have a huge impact on your internet service so please be forewarned.
Also, please be aware that DishNet requires a separate dish and modem which is in addition to the regular Dish Network satellite dish and receiver(s). As such, DishNet reviews may vary by what service is bundled for a particular customer.
Please let it be know that SatelliteComplaints.com wishes that Dish would make the aforementioned items clearer to potential customers.

For some strange reason my internet slows down within the 10th of each month. They don't offer unlimited data. I have had Dish TV for 15 to 18 years, always loved it still do. However the Dish internet REALLY SUCKS. Would I recommend to a friend or family member? NO WAY. It is terrible. Oh but they will give you 1 GB of data for $10.00. REALLY, I ALREADY PAY THEM WAY TO MUCH FOR THEIR SERVICE. I sure will not switch to Direct TV because they are just as bad. I live in the country so those are my 2 options. I wish I could get Charter or DSL,but it isn't offered in my area.
The data limit is small, the service is so slow that you use up all your data waiting for a page to load. Customer service is argumentative. Technical service is untrained and very limited to what they can do.
Started to receive DOS attacks- I was told to replace my router. I was told to plug my pic directly to modem but then told they could not dial into modem to test anything.
I have been waiting for a year and 5 months for the contract to end.
