ViaSat Exede broadband internet Exede is a satellite internet service provided by parent company ViaSat. The service was launched in 2012 when the ViaSat-1 satellite was put into service. Before Exede, ViaSat offered WildBlue on an older Telesat Anik F2 satellite. In general Exede's real world performance is over 10x faster than WildBlue's. The new ViaSat-2 satellite is scheduled to be put into service later this year (2016). SKU UPC Model

Worst Company Ever!!

The Internet was never a HUGE issue. I don't believe we actually used as much as they said and it would run out way to quick but at $70 a month I didn't complain a whole lot. They said they had free hours even when your internet ran out but it never really seemed to work 100%. My issue with them is that when you have a natural disaster take out your home, do you know they will still charge you half of what your bill was every month FOR NO REASON. You would think like Dish they would put your account on hold until you got to a new place. Nope, not this company they are going to kick you while your down. You lost you home, to fire, flood, tornado ect, and now you have to pay them money every month even though you have no service through them!!! WTF??? Who conducts bussiness like that??? This horrible company that's who!!!

HORRIBLE SERVICE! It was installed in my apartment for TWO days and it did not work! Called multiple times! NO RESOLUTION! They were suppose to come on THURSDAY between 2 and 6. I received a phone call at 3:00 telling me that they will not be coming because he had to go pick up the modem in Long Island City. He came the next day and installed the equipment. That day it DID not work and we called company. They told us it was a weather issue and it will work within two hours. We tried again the next day and NOTHING! Called again and they told me the same response. They told us we had to pay $15.00 for 24 months to cancel! We had the service for 2 days and it NEVER worked! Sales Rep was so rude and unprofessional on the phone she HUNG up on me because I refused to let it go.! This company is a disgrace! They have no respect for their customers!

It would be a zero rating. This is the worse company every. Am half tempted to waste the money to get rid of them. Tech support are rude and unprofessional and the sales people aren't much better. They installed a modem, not once did anyone advice me to get a router until after it was already installed. The installer put the modem in a spare bedroom even though we needed it our living room becuase it was more work to run a line to the right room. Went and got a router and now the modem don't work and the tech lady keep putting me hold becuase she didn't know how to fix it. Then when I ask for some one who knows what they are doing and can fix the problem she put me on hold for almost 30 minutes before I hung up and this was after I was one the phone with her for almost hour. DONT go with this company.

Was told installer would show up at 2pm-5pm. 8 pm and no installer. I've called 3 separate times and finally am told the driver's van broke down and isn't coming. No one not even the driver has called to say anything. I had to call in order to find out anything. So I been sitting here for 6 hours with no explanation. And no one on the phone seemed to care...

We just moved into the country a month and a half ago and we were upset that charter didn't reach service there. We got with Exede because we had no other option.THIS INTERNET IS HORRIBLE. It takes about 10 minutes for Netflix to load and we are lucky if it works after that. Every night at 9:30/10pm the "service" cuts out. This internet is slow and crappy. I wouldn't pay $5 for this service. We are lucky to find out yesterday that we found another provider. Thanks for nothing exede.

Been Stuck Under Exede For Two And One Half Years! Started Off Paying $76.00 a month for bundle pkgs, which I never got services for my television! Still No Services And I'm Paying $95.00 a month! I Want to know why the great increase, and no more services not even Internet for my television?

about a month or less getting the junk,I only get 1bar usually to 3bars of service called to see if dish was aligned right and got a very rude answer. I consistantly get locked out and have to go through all the password crap to get back in. It constantly rebuffing most u tube videos. lock in to a plan which I feel should be illegal and plan to talk to lawyer about false adveritizing....

In the contract it states that they can change it at any point and time without notification. They wrongfully changed our plan AKA enforced the original contract. Worst service ever, I can't even watch Netflix anymore with it loading every 5 seconds.

Worst service in the world. I can set right next to my router and get only one bar. I have called numerous times and get very rude people. I have had one nice lady though. On about the 20th call to them I asked about cancelling and they said it would be $300. $300 to cancel a service that don't work are you serious?!. I manage 13 homes right now plus my own. I told excedes customer service that it's either let me cancel without charge or even $100 and loss $70 a month or all the homes I run and mine will just stop paying and they will loss just under $1300 a month. This company is the biggest joke in the world and I will make sure that they stop getting business in this county as I am on the board for city hall and have ins with alot of big people.

I ordered a bundle service through Direct TV. I had know idea there would be satellite involved. I have a bundle service through another company so whe Excede installed their service this past Saturday the old service was and still is intact, so Im not using Excede (the $59 package doesn't have wi-fi). The contract is for 24 months and eventhough it only been 2 days, they are holding me hostage for a $15/month for the length of the contract ransom. Taxes, fees and other charges will be added. This is ridiculous and so is this company. I plan to call Direct and let them know what they are dealing with contracting with Excede. My rating is -800


1.2 5.0 1231 1231 having seriouse speed issues, complained to company they schedualed a technician to come gave a 3 hour window for the tech to be there, waited the 3 hours then called and they said Exede broadband internet
