Dish gives a promotion of 39.99 for one year that goes to 49.99 the next year which never happens, you never know what the bill is going to be and worst of all New Customers get lower rates than the ones with them for years\


Stop taking away channels and raising the bill

My bill keeps going up and the channels keep going away. We have the package choose and we pay for because we want those channels. If you take away what we are paying for how come you don't lower the bill. In the beging we recomended Dish, but I just can't now.

I have been a Dish Network customer for many, many years. I received an offer from DirecTV for new customers where they installed the equipment for free and locked in a low price for 2 years. I currently paid much more for Dish and had older equipment so called Dish to cancel my service. The customer service associate asked if I would stay with Dish if they upgraded my equipment for free and took $30 off my bill for 2 years to try to match DirecTV's offer. I had to sign a 2-year contract to get this offer. I agreed. Then 4 months later I find out they only gave me the $30 discount for 3 months instead of 2 years. When I called Dish customer service they claimed the notes in my account said the service rep only promised me the $30/month discount for 3 months. If that was the case, I would have taken DirecTV's offer and not agreed to stay with Dish. Just because the notes state that doesn't mean that's what I was told. I had my notes from the call where I wrote down "$30 off for 2 years". Dish refused to do anything. Make sure you get IN WRITING any deals from Dish before agreeing, as they do a bait-and-switch scheme!!

First off we paid to much for shitty channels and now that my husband got tired of paying so much he went to basics now whe don't have any thing. Top top that off they take off the only Tulsa news channel that talks about McAlester ok off yha air. I am ready to tell them to shuve this crap we're the sun dont shine. Go to direct. Tv. It has to be better then this. Oh just to be clear I didn't even want to give one star but I'm required to at least mark one.

I had problem with my remote. I called dish. They sent me a new remote. I thought this is awesome, good customer service. When the remote came in it wouldn't program. I called dish. The lady I spoke with talked so fast it was hard to stay with her. She huffed and took deep breaths each time I ask question. I am sorry but this remote has 100 buttons. It was hard to fine all the buttons she wanted pushed. I am not a dish tech. I finally called the tv manufacturer. It was a simple fix. I unplugged my tv and held power button down. Took care of problem. I didn't even need the new remote. It was the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I would never recommend dish to anyone. You would think if she was so smart this would be one of the first things they have you do when you call in.

I would like to start out with that our dish account is under my boyfriends name Lyndall Schnake but I have been the one to pay on the account since we have had it with you. Well with the month of December everything gets put off because of Christmas, well with that being said I did call dish letting them know that I would be paying late and I was told that we would be shut off until we could make payment. Well I understand all that totally, but when I called I did state that I would be paying the bill January 2nd. Well I paid the bill on the 2nd like I said,but someone decided to call Lyndall on the 4th of January from the Pueblo office, stating that the bill hadn't been paid, well this lady didn't stop there she was rude,wanting to know when were going to pay and with me paying the bill all the time he doesn't know password or codes she stated that how could he not know all this and why, and was rude about the whole bill thing. In Lyndall's words she was making it seem like he was a piece of trash for not paying his bill. He did tell her that it had been paid on the 2nd as far as he knew. The lady won't complaint anything on that statement,Lyndall works as a manager he opens up businesses for people so when he tells me about the whole ordeal and said that she was very rude to him. So of course here I am with it, if your people are going to deal with customers be nice and listen to them, we have been a customer of dish for six years and the only thing that we have with you is internet and we signed for two years, and the internet is 59.99 and more if its late, I am pretty sure that I can get internet cheaper, six years with ya'll you would think that we could be treated like customers rather then as piece of shit especially over the phone. I have had problems with you guys and every time I get told one thing and it never happens or it never gets done. So with your Pueblo office lady maybe a course of being nice or actually looking at an account and seeing that it was paid two days before her call. I would like to know when our contract is up please, I have to look it up and I will but being a customer for these years you could be treated better. Half of the time I can't get on the internet or can't be used with a computer and a phone. So for 59.99 I would think that I could be treated better then shit. I have had it with being a customer of dish if you can't train people better then that I don't need your services any longer.

This company has no customer service what so ever.The young lady I talked with first time was nice enough didn't get nothing done but nice bout it.The supervisor was the unprofessional. Iv had this service for 2 mths iv actually got to watch it bout 3 weeks an it keeps saying lost signal on a sunny day.Finally after either option of 95$ service charge one time or additional 8$ a month option they sent out a tech.The tech never did arrive so I still have no TV when I called to see where the tech was dish told me several things.First he was on his way,next he left a door hanger we wasn't home,then he couldn't find the address which one is it ders

So today I was suppose to have a installment the day of the appointment the tech called me i explained where i lived and everything. As i was telling him the rooms i want my services in he begin to ask me if i have services at my location. i told him no i did not so he began to tell me that i can not receive any services today because all he was suppose to be doing today was adding a joey. First of all i dont have any services cause I moved so the problem was when the tech told me they put it in the system has a custom order and all he was doing was installing the Joey.So the tech the told me to call i called and they told me at customer service that yes they where installing today. Apparently that still was false info so i called again and asked someone else apparently it was just a custom order and it was put in wrong.So please when u place ur installments make sure they do it right.

calling me at 6:30 in the morning... waking me up... not speaking understandable English... with a bad connection...asking me if my satellite is working?
Really? WTF?


1.2 5.0 262 262 My 2nd TV loses the "guide" option about 7 p.m.---every night. I have to unplug and reset that box. Then my main TV shuts off very single night in the wee hours. I use it as a s DISH Network Satellite TV
