ViaSat Exede broadband internet Exede is a satellite internet service provided by parent company ViaSat. The service was launched in 2012 when the ViaSat-1 satellite was put into service. Before Exede, ViaSat offered WildBlue on an older Telesat Anik F2 satellite. In general Exede's real world performance is over 10x faster than WildBlue's. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

I cannot stress enough my dissapointment in signing a two year lease with Excede. My modem quite working after 10 months. I called tech support 5 times trying to fix it. Then I called the their sales people 4 times to try and get my modem replaced. Turns out I was not in a \"servicable\" area..

Exede told me they would give me three free months once my modem was replaced or terminate and waive the fees. No technician came out, so I assumed they terminiated my account.

Four months later I get a BILL! I called Exeed another 4 times to explain they situation. They told me my records weren\'t accessable, that I\'d been using the modem (IMPOSSIBLE) since it\'s unplugged. And that I chose 3 free months instead of termination. WRONG!!!!!

Now they have told me they will get a technician seven days from today or terminate my service. I really don\'t believe them or anything they say.


Slow speed horrible service!!!

Constantly slow speeds - confirmed download 4.04 and upload of 5.6 with Mark at Exede #C110009091. Was told per their legal contract they didn't have to meet the 10 I pay for and that they advertise. I needed to deal with it. I would never sign up for their service again!!!

If I could go back in time and stop my boss from agreeing to be sucked into this hellish vortex called exede \"high speed\" internet I would. I can barely type an email in normal speed because everytime there is a change the screen freezes. Could it be the computer? NO because when I am typing offline there IS NO PROBLEM!!!!
Boss got told that oh sure you won\'t use 8GB (or whatever is the middle plan)in a month. This was AFTER the sales was told what we do. He was told oh no, if you use all your data plan we just slow it down to 3-4 mbps (which is what we had. Not only was that a HUGE FAT LIE but within 2 DAYS, yes 2 DAYS we get the \"slow down\" email. This is also the internet for his house...yeah that was a bigger joke. The sun goes down and their internet STOPS!
RUN AWAY from people selling this JOKE of an internet. IT IS CRAP! I want to give it NEGATIVE 10

I gave 1 star but If you had a ZERO I wouldn\'t give you that.
WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE WITH THIS COMPANY. I was refer to them from my Cable Co, they never explained to me how their stu...agreement works. I got a deduction for the 1st month on the same week they installed my service...WTF! Service is awful, disconnects all the time, also if you run out of Gb\'s they put you in a slower program $ ur connection will be a NIGHTMARE. do not fall for this WORST COMPANY EVER

I never used any data in the 12 hours I had the service and was still charged $483.00. I also was told by a customer service rep to climb out my window (while pregnant) to get a piece off the satellite or I would still be charged for services. I also had to go through the cancellation process twice because whoever I spoke with initially "forgot" to place the cancellation.

For the price, its hard to beat. We use 10GB for 60/month. Dish and Comcast quoted me 20 more and forced me to bundle other services. I am a happy customer, which is rare for a internet provider.

Mysterious data disappearance 20G in 3 days. First six months. Excellent then data starts being used out of no where. Rural. don't think its the neighbors.

First i want to say that my initial complaint was because i was told i would be billed 15 days after the start of my serve. I agreed knowing the money would be there. Well 6 days after signing up (3 days after installation) i was charged, overdrafting my bank account. So after I called customer service to ask why I was told something completely different, i was told that there was nothing they could do. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was put on hold for 40 minutes because the supervisor was dealing with other complaints the supervisor was dealing with other complaints. finally someone gets on the line and tells me the supervisor is going to answer then the phone hangs up on their end. I call back, wait another 10 minutes for another supervisor. re explain my complaint only to have him raise his voice and talk over me. I ask to speak to someone else and was again transferred to their home office I've been explained my now 2 complaints and was told the only thing that could be done was to refund my money in 5 to 7 business days and I would still owe the bill, and I can change my billing date for next months bill. I explained that would not help because I get paid in two days and wouldnt need the money back after that. I asked if my bill could be discounted the $32 that my bank was going to charge me for overdraft fee and I was told it would take a two week investigations because they couldn't take my word as proof. I said I thought the customer was always right and was told by her "no that is not true". also adding to my complaint that during installation the person doing the installation left their trash in my yard and took an old satellite off the roof and left it in my yard. when I discussed this with her i was told she would get back to me on the policy regarding that. I want to cancel my service because i was given nothing but false information and tricked into a misleading contract but was told i would have to pay an early termination fee of $20 per month and it's a two year contract. I was also Informed that the contract I 'signed' was during the installation process. except the only thing I did during the installation process was type my name on a computer screen to verify that the work was done. it was not explain to me that that was a contract and there was nothing to read as far as terms and conditions.


PLEASE DON'T FALL FOR THIS!!

I have had my interest service for about a year but only because I am in a contract and can't get out. In the past 12 months I have been so disheartened because my kids can't do nothing on the Internet or watch netflick because service continues to load I give you a 1 star only because I have to. You deserve no stars (not even a half of one ). When you call to ask someone to come and fix it the even charge you for a service call so again paying for crap service and service calls is breaking me. All I want is out of my contract without having to pay an arm and a leg so I can go with an Internet service that I can actually use. Please please don't fall for this interest service. Maybe if they get enough of bad reviews people will stop falling for them and this while Internet business will go out of business.

NEVER WORKS!!! This is the worst wifi I've ever used, have to constantly turn on and off to try to get a signal. Won't even run directtv on demand. They need to reimburse everybody or fix this worthless service. Huge regret!!


1.2 5.0 1231 1231 having seriouse speed issues, complained to company they schedualed a technician to come gave a 3 hour window for the tech to be there, waited the 3 hours then called and they said Exede broadband internet
