ViaSat Exede broadband internet Exede is a satellite internet service provided by parent company ViaSat. The service was launched in 2012 when the ViaSat-1 satellite was put into service. Before Exede, ViaSat offered WildBlue on an older Telesat Anik F2 satellite. In general Exede's real world performance is over 10x faster than WildBlue's. This internet is DOODOO. I have suffered with this internet for too long. It was the only thing available in my neighborhood. It is very slow. It's currently 1:00 am EST and I was waiting up for the 'unlimited high-speed internet' from 12 am to 5 am. I just did an internet speed test and I'm getting .54mbps down & 2.68mbps up. This internet constantly leaves me frustrated with low speeds. DO NOT GET THIS INTERNET.


Registers usage when computer was broken down!

For reasons unknown my service has really sucked lately. Our computer was broken and unplugged and it said we went over our usage. There's no way! It's so slow. I think enough people have got ripped off, it's time to file a lawsuit.

Worst internet. If you want to use your laptop, phone, etc yiu should not purchase from here! I had it one day and used 10 gb out of 12. I usually do not write reviews but people need to know.


Excede

Excede was only internet option available at the time. Signed two year contract and immediately received awful customer service. When terminating contract, know when your billing date is. You pay one month in advance and I missed it by two days, so I was charged the full monthly payment for two days of service. Would have rather paid the $15/month termination fee. It took nearly 40 minutes to terminate my contract. I still have to dispose of their dish. Customer service rep actually told me they don't make boxes big enough to hold a dish when I offered to send it back.

WORST INTERNET EVER. ALWAYS BREAKING AND NONE TO FIX. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEY WERE A NO CALL NO SHOW 3 TIMES FOR SERVICE CALLS. Then I call and ask to speak to a supervisor and the rep said they didn't want to talk.. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS SERVICE. .EXCEDE AND THERE INSTALLERS ARE THE WORSE. AND IF YOUR A WOMEN PLEASE HAVE A MAN THERE WITH YOU! I believe they purposely do a poor install so they can keep coming out and charging you big $$... RUN AWAY FROM ANYTHING FROM THESE COMPANY.. TAKE NOTE AT ALL THE ONE STARS THE OTHER PEOPLE HAVE LEFT.

customer service is terrible.service is slow.cant cancel contract even if not satisfied with the service.you will never have enough data.avoid this company or get burnt for 24 months.never again

They limit your data for an outrageous price!! Had charter for 24 years wonderful service and price!! My 12Gb of data is gone within 3 days with no phones or TVs connected! My husband plays spades online at night that's it! Service goes out about 50 percent of the time. I had the installation guy come out twice and change all equipment within 2 months he said its all old refurbished stuff and it shows data being used even when nobody is here! They just want their 2 year contract money. They don't care about the service once you sign up and realize how bad they are you are hooked for the contract buyout!!! Do not sign with this company!! AND the customer service is RUDE!!!


Poor business practices

Horrible customer service. I now have mold in my attic due to the in-proper dish install. After 2 weeks the dish lost service. They came back out. Changed the dish mount, but failed to inform my they left holes in my roof from the other mount. Now water damage in my ceiling and attic. We had to remove the dish to repair the leak. We decided not to re-install the dish and their customer service told me there is a $45.00 dis connect fee. I explained that I had over $1000.00 in damage in my house due to their in-proper install. They told me it did not matter, that that is the risk I took when I had the dish put on my roof. I explained that they had came back ot & changed the mount and left holes & did not inform anyone. They did not seem to care & told me it did not matter. Worst customer service ever. That is not to mention the extremely slow speeds & no service with very little cloud cover in the sky.

They tout 12mbps as fast it is not. But I never get close to that. Usually about 5mbps when there is not much traffic maybe 9mbps sometimes. During the evening gets slow as 1mbps. Their standard excuse is traffic. Like I'm suppose to be ok with that. I'm not getting what I'm paying for. What good is 12mbps if I can only get it at 5:30am . Their customer service is a joke. I'm been hung up on, left on continual hold. Told they would call me back, they never do. I'm trying to cancel my contract but the threaten me with $330 cancel fee. I hate every thing about this company. I hope you are lucky enough to read this before you sign with them

Had I known this bundle was going to be such a headache I would have told the sale people from cm wireless to take get lost. My internet is slower than it was with cable. These sales people do not give a person a chance to review what they are buying it was hooked up fifteen minutes after talking to the sales man. I have been given a 60 dollar quote from the exede and told I would have to pay early cancellation fees if I cancel. I haven\'t had this piece of crap for more than 12 hours. If any one is interested in filling a complaint with bbb and the attorney generals office let me know I will join in with you. They should give people a chance to try there service for a short period of time before rejecting a cancellation.
